I didn't know

It was my way to release.
I didn't know it would go so far.
Now i lay on the floor.
As my life escapes my body.

It started as a normal day.
Until i lost contral.
I didn't know what to do.
I took that blade with a tender hand.

And watched as it ran against my wrist.
I was always careful.
To make it look accidental.
I didn't know it would go so far.

I cut to deep, i can't stop the bleeding.
so here i am again.
as i lay here dying on the floor.
I want to say "I didn't know it would go so far."
