Congrats!!!
1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the state of Victoria, Australia and still do!
2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing?
I was going through an emotionally difficult time a few years ago and found that writing about how I felt and how I viewed things really helped. So I enjoy it so much I have kept going.
3. Did you go to college/university?
I went to Teachers College adn trained for three years. Later I trained further to get my fourth year and Bachelor Of Arts degree.
4. If so, what was your major?
It was that long ago lol that I can't rememer. If anything it would have been English as Maths was beyond me lol. I have always loved english.
5. Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school?

6. What’s your favorite color?
I love all shades of blue.
7. Food? Yes!
8. Pastime? Trying to write poetry lol, bushwalking and knitting.
9. Music? Hmm a mixture but I think Enya would be my favourite performer.
10. Poet ? Pablo Neruda and Emily Dickinson
11. TV show?
Oh I have lots! I love Scrapheap Challenge and most British comedies.
12. Movie ?
Mamma Mia and Alexander The Great
13. Book ? Lord Of The Rings for sure!
About Your Life On All Poetry
1. Give me a brief rundown of your history on AP. In other words, how did you get here?
I found the site purely by accident after being dissatisfied with Poetry.com and the scam it was! I certainly don't regret the change! It's a wonderful site.
2. How long have you been a member of All Poetry?
Been a member since July 2006
About Your Poetry :
1. When did you first begin to write? I have only been writing since about 2005, so not long. A real novice.
2. What kind of poetry do you write the most? Dark, Sensual, Etc.
Hmm that depends on my mood at the time lol. I seem to like spiritual, nature and enjoy tryijng different forms. Some I feel lend themselves more to a specific kind of poetry than others.
3. Who are your influences?
God is a driving force in my life, although I don't talk about it too often. My friends and favourites here at AP also and many of the old masters are so inspiring.
4. What feeds your desire to continue writing poetry ?
The feeling that I have so many emotions that I want to share and expressing them in different poetic ways.
General :
1. Hobbies?
Writing poetry, bushwalking, working out at the gym and knitting.
2. Pets? Two gorgeous cats, Murphy and Grace who are as different as chalk and cheese. But I love them both to bits!
3. Talents? Ermmmm pass lol
4. Jobs? I was a Primary School teacher for 35 years and am now retired and loving it!
5. What advice would you give to growing poets ?
Oh that's easy. The more you read the more you see different aspects to life and how people view life. So reading and commenting on many different types of poetry as you can is, I think, really important. Often when I read others' poetry, my own ideas springboard from them. Metaphors, imagery and form poetry are all inspiring
6. Anything else you can think of.
Just a huge thank you to those here who have supported and helped me over the time. I am sure they know who they are. I have made some wonderful friends here and hope to be here for a long time to come.
