Binary code ~ 0101010101 ~ is what I love comparing us to. From an objective perspective, we seem to make up the 0's and 1's that power the incredible device which is society.
Everyone is merely another countless ditto and it seems to be one of our greatest fears ~ similarity. We are all propelled to 'difference' (god bless the emo's) by the fear of being ditt0. I guess it all has to do with making an impression; as that seems to be the only meger answer we have for life.
Ironically, trying to be different is only done nowadays by the indifferent, and it seems the whole situation has become quite the catch 22. I guess I'm better off sitting here laughing rather than trying to make progress ~ god knows theres enough people already working on that.

Very insightful. I adore cynicism. You should probablly read one of my newer poems called "Frustration". I think you'd like it. Its not quite...um...relevant, but its similar in it's way :-)
