High School

Well... I started high school Tuesday...
Well, let's see.
My classes?
On A days I have: Gym (Ick!); Advanced Placement Human Geography, Honors English Two; and Honors Geometry. On B days I have: Speech (how to give a speech, not I can't talk class); Spanish 1; Honors Physical Science; and Jazz Band.

I love the gym teacher, but I hate gym. Mr. Connington, APHG teacher, is great. Mrs. Brooks, English teacher, got fired. She was caught sleeping with a Senior on the football team. So, she'll have to be replaced. Mrs. Kirby, Geometry teacher, is actually pretty cool. I love my speech teacher, they still don't have a Spanish teacher (they are supposed to have one tomorrow), my science teacher is okay, and I've known my band teacher since seventh grade.

Well, I suppose that's really about it. My first day was horrible. Yesterday wasn't too great either, but today was nice. So, I'm doing better. I don't know if anyone really wanted to read this but just updating everyone.

Wish me luck! (I'll need it!!)

    Well good luck. Oh I'm a freshmen it's sucks but at least the upper classmen are decent to us freshies hah. (that's what they call us)...I dislike gym too at least I only have it one semester for my entire high school years. (yes only only have to take it once.) Anyway I like most of my teachers but my spanish teacher scares the crap out of me .

        Yesh. I only have it one semester and next semester is health. I hate gym I'm so uncoordinated and well my gym teacher is mean. He yelled at a student for asking a question today. Eck. My spanish teacher. We've only been in school 8 days and everyone in my Spanish class is terrified of her.

            Oh yesh it's bad I said freaking de nada or however you spell it when she wasn't speaking to me. She whipped around asked me a question in Spanish (thank gosh I knew the answer.) and she started playing with my hair it was super duper scary freaked me out.

      8th grade oh how i don't miss it way way to much drama. We were super cool (not really) we got called the worst 8th grade class haha. Plus we had an end of school food fight man that was great. The food fight is a tradition in our middle school if new freshmen didn't have a food fight at our middle school. Well everyone is mean it's only happened once when the 8th grade didn't have a food fight. (well since the tradition started) All the teachers wait for it and keep an eye on everyone to see who actually starts it or continues it. If your caught you have to clean up.

    Ooh! You're starting school already! Wow! That was fast...my school is gonna be starting on the 2nd of Sep. I'm suppose to be starting grade eight. And yes, let's all wish each other the best of luck, though I don't think that YOU'LL be needing it! (Honours English, Goemetry, Science, ect...I'm so jelous!)

            Doesn't work like that, sweetie. Trust me. I know from expiriance. The Upperclasses can predict your entire High School career. The teachers are more inclined to listen to them then we Underclasses. They have more influence, more power, more muscle. My advice? Don't do anything to attract attention, and just stay quiet and out of the way tommorow.

                                    Wow...at my high school, the seniors could care less what the freshman were doing. They were too "cool" to interact with them in any way, even in a violent way.

    High school is amazing! I absolutley love it, and I am excited for my sophomore year - I started Tuesday, and it's amazing! i love not being the youngest - trust me, it feels weird... No offense to you sis, but really... You'll have a blast with high school! s and s
