Hey,
As most of you know, my computer was plagued with thousands of viruses. Therefore I was unable to judge this round. Fortunately the computer is now fixed and I have completed judging. I was brief with the commenting this round. I know I could have done better, but I feel that moving on with the contest is more important; next round I will surely comment better.
This round was very good. First I read the haikus. Most of them were good, but there were only maybe like six or seven that truly impressed me. Next I read the prose you wrote, and I felt that each one was very strong - lots of different directions taken. Last I read the picture-inspiration poems; most of you did very well but there are a few of you who obviously need to step it up
in total honesty. Its getting to the point when you need to think originally. Stop using the same images and metaphors over and over again. It is a bad habit that even I am trying to overcome; it is perfectly normal so dont feel bad. All in all this was a great round.
With that said, I am dropping the immunity award for winning the haiku challenge because three people failed to enter this round. I am disappointed, but the contest goes on. So be it.
Heather quit. Chandni and Diana didnt enter anything. Therefore all three have been eliminated. That means anyone who completed all of their assignments have automatically advanced to the next round.
Here are the results.

I didn't mean to bring you guys down, but I'm having one of the worst summers of my life. Or at least busiest.
