project poetry season one [finale]

Hii everyone.

This is easily the most disappointing column I’ve had to write in this entire contest. It pisses me off in a sense, but what happened, happened. Oh well.

Danielle & Marty were not around to finish the assignment.

Tyler quit.

Chandni, Kevin & Audri all dropped out as well, due to work load.

Which obviously leaves us to Cassie & Christina. I really don’t care about this contest anymore now that everyone has dropped out. The contest isn’t a showing of poetic talent. It feels more like it turned into a test of who could do the busy work.

Both of you are talented poets. Cassie, you are still growing & through the contest, I’d like to believe you’ve shown more control in your poetry. Christina, you have been consistently amazing, even though you don’t believe it of yourself.

Without bias, I can honestly & bluntly say that you,

Christina, have out performed Cassie in this contest. Though you have made such great strides in your writing, Cassie, I believe a peer vote would agree as well.

Points are points, but I’ll award you Christina with 4,000 & 1,500 to you Cassie. If you think you deserve more, we'll talk about it. Thanks for keeping with it & making it an enjoyable time, inside & outside of Propo. :]

-Chase

To be honest, I didn't expect to get this far. It's been an experience. I've enjoyed all the prompts, no matter how hard they were. It's sad that no one is around anymore to finish anything. I haven't been in a rounds contest with this much drop out.

Congrats, Christina, you totally deserved to win.

And ditto... Thanks a lot to Chase for hosting. I loved being in the contest. Maybe you'll be able to host another rounds contest sometime.

I'm really not sure what to say. I'm disappointed that the competition fell through like this, like it was a multirounder where, as long as you completed the assignment, you basically moved onto the next round.
*sighs* but that's how it ended up, so what can we do.

Congratulations to Cassie for making it through to the end too, great job.

And thank you, Chase, for hosting and stuff. (haha, and not the same "...and stuff" as from my dream earlier, hahaha)
