SO LONG - NOT GOODBYE

Why I am taking a short break from AP.
To all of my wonderful friends, old and new, sisters and brothers, I must take a short break from the site. I am smiling through my tears, for I know I will return. First and foremost, I must take care of my health. No, I am NOT dying. I have some mechanical problems that will entail several operations over the next two months. I have severe osteoarthritis and the top joints in all my fingers have frozen and it hurts badly to type. I also tore my rotator cuff on my right shoulder and it must be repaired. I have started seeing a doctor for pain management, and the drugs make me not think clearly enough to write anything coherent. (Even my little dog, Stella, wonders what the heck I am saying to her at 2 AM!)

As many of you know, pain 24/7 is very wearing. I have to tell myself jokes to keep from crying. Actually, some are very funny!

I will try to keep in touch with any who send me letters. It will have to be by the left handed pecking system. (Or can I teach Stella to type!)

Bu, I got your call the other day and listened to the sounds of the beach. It is still on my phone. I have been sleeping a lot. Forgive me for not calling back.

I will be lifting you up in prayer...I wonder if I too, am getting a touch of some type of arthritis...as my right arms hurts sooooo bad and when I put heat to it it feels better...anyway you di what you need to to get better and we'll all be here waiting for you upon your return...LOve and prayers to you!!!!!~~Toni~~~

    I will surely miss you, but I do understand the pain situation. I went to pain management for nine years. I was a human guinea pig. They did EVERY type of treatment available on this earth, twice, I even had the nerves that send pain signals to my brain severed, and that didn't even work. So, I am just to live with chronic pain forever. The drugs don't even affect me anymore. I pray, that you have a more blessed experience, and that you get your butt well. We need you. And your contests are the BEST! I am sad today, and now reading this, I'm even sadder. I will be praying for you, don't give up.

    Awww Hope You get well soon Dear. My grandpa can barely move his fingers anymore wears gloves even during the summer. I know how much your are suffering as I do each and everyday with my back hips knees and shoulders. I feel for ya. Tell them docs to take good care of my Big Sissy
