This is a small picture of you or something you feel represents you. This is added from the EDIT ACCOUNT page EDIT FACE link and can be a Jpg, Png or Gif file. This is visible next to your comments and at the top of your poetry and Authors pages. This must be G-rated just like your User Name or it will be removed by the Moderator staff.
General Information: Your user name. The date and time your poetry was posted on the site. The last time you logged onto the site. This information has proved invaluable in cases where plagiarism issues against the poem and author are at dispute.
Copyright details: Up to now your user name is taken as the copyright holder, this is why it is imperative that you never place poetry that is not your own work on these pages, doing this brakes the cardinal rule of AP and it is taken very seriously and dealt with very swiftly. Not every one wishes the copyright to be assigned to their username, and would prefer there real name or the name they choose to write under be used. To add this name to the Copyright access your EDIT ACCOUNT page, immediately under the large input window you will find REAL NAME (Optional, show on copyright) along with an input box. Add your preferred name here and it will be displayed above the copyright logo All Rights reserved position.
The Views Indicator: this is a handy feature that keeps track of how many people have viewed your poem these views become old views after a week so you can see how many have seen this poem and how many this week have viewed it. If you click on the word VIEWS you access a page that lists the members names that have viewed your poetry with the exception of cloaked members, this is a useful feature. It can also be accessed from YOUR ACCOUNT page from the link LATEST VIEWS ON YOUR POETRY.
Members Age: This is optional and can show actual age, the word Adult or be turned off. This feature is accessible from the EDIT ACCOUNT page. Showing your correct age is mandatory for minors. This is a site rule and is important tool that assists the site staff that keep an eye on the welfare of the younger members know what age they are dealing with. They are not required to display the age but it must be entered correctly on the EDIT ACCOUNT page. This interacts with the adult filter and the profanity filter replaces sware words with the word BUNNY. The profanity filter is available to all ages accessible from the EDIT ACCOUNT page. The system informs staff when a minor changes there age and a check is run to make sure attempts to circumvent the safety nets are not being tested.
The Applause Counter: allows you to see at a glance the total applauses received to date.
Categories: helpful in determining the content of a poem and essential if the poem falls under the ADULT, ABUSE, EROTICA or ADULT HUMOR categories to make certain that it has been placed correctly so that the adult filter stops minors from viewing this material. *Note children accessing filtered pages will be directed to the site home page, but will still show on LATEST VIEWS ON YOUR POETRY page please do not be alarmed by this.

View Options:
SHOW QUICK COMMENT This opens a comment input box that follows you down the page. A useful tool for long poetry or contest holders that have to read a lot of poetry, as it allows you to comment as you go and not try to remember everything at the end.
HIDE BACKGROUND this is very handy if you come across a background that makes it hard to read the poem due to colour or pictures creating a distraction.
COMPLAIN Backgrounds that Obscure or impede the use right-hand side links are against site policy. Using this link will send a Moderator to investigate and decide if the background stays.
PRINT Removes the background to a plain white and changes the writing to black for a printer friendly page. Please obtain the consent of the member before removing poetry that is not your own and printing.
NOMINATE FOR FRONT PAGE This links you to the submissions page. Submissions must be sent by a third party other than the author and accompanied by a brief explanation of why it should be accepted.
TELL A FRIEND Sets up an email complete with poem ready to send to a friend.
FEATURE OR REWARD If you enjoyed this poem or wish to help a poet you can set up a feature or reward system on there behalf, this is anonymous unless you tell.

The Chatter Box To access, click on the title “Chatterbox” to open a dedicated page. Type your response and enter to start chatting. The chat areas are subject to Rules, these must be followed or removal from the chat area in a ever lengthening time period will be forth coming. If someone is being rude or ruining it for others you can use the Complaints button to alert staff. If enough people complain the system will remove the person and issue a ban. If the complaint system is abused we will be able to tell and act accordingly.
