Have you ever met the woman, who from her conception was so pure'
whose love and trust of God forever will endure?
Who from her first conscious thought,
God's will was the only goal she sought.
Her heart was pierced with a sword of sorrow for her only son,
who by his death and resurrection, salvation for all was won.
Her every act, throughout all the years of her life,
was that of a loving mother and obedient wife.
Her spouse is the third person of the Holy Trinity
and through this woman, God sent Jesus down to you and me
.
She is known throughout the world and from the beginning of time
as the vessel through which God sent us the precious bread and wine.
Though some think these are only symbols of God's undying love,
the Catholic Church teaches they are Jesus' body and blood from above.
So when you think about God sending His son from Heaven to us below,
Please don't forget His mother, The Immaculate Conception, from whom graces flow.
