1.LIMMERICKS ARE IDEAL!
It goes like this: a,a,b,b,a. Which is the key patern to the funny. It is usually very funny, and the first two lines rhyhme(I might have spelled that wrong) and the next two rhyhme also, but the last one A rhymes with the other A's. Enjoy! ♥
2. Animals are funny!
They are read more often in funny if you actually make it funny. It's not that hard to make it the element. Now, my roxie stories have the fox wanting to do something, and it never works for her, or it tells a lesson. SAME WITH KIDS SHOWS!!
3. Make it sound reaaally interesting, in a funny way; change the title if you have to! from: Bunnie lifes. to: The story of henry hare and the carrot caboodle! If you do make the title sound funny, trust me! when I was a little girl, I liked entertaining titles, that made me want to read it. Now I'm reading hard books that are funny and sad!
4. It's ok not to rhyhme sometimes!
If you abselutley can't rhyhme anything together, NO WORRIES! Except if it's a limmerick and that HAS to be funny and rhyhming. Then you should proabably rethink all the things you did. like:
Her coat was orange,
a peal of orange.....
To: her coat was like a sunset,
I wouldn't let her wear it!
And last of all.....
5!!!!!
If you can, add an immage to it of the thing you are doing of!
This column is about how to write funny! Otherwise for me you don't get +'s on kid's reads; ones that like silly and funny ones!!
