Question and Answer Time!
1. Where did you grow up?
On the 'bay' in New Jersey, then moved to Florida where I have been for the last 18 years.
2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing?
When I wanted to create my own comic strip at 6.
3. Did you go to college/university?
Yes
4. If so, what was your major?
Which one? LOL.
License in cosmetology. Licensed nurse. I have a doctorate in Divinity and Metaphysics. Working on a degree in psychology.
5. Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school?
Anyway I can. Reading as much as possible. Always asking questions when needed. I want to be a sponge (not Bob lol)and take in as much as I can.
6. What’s your favorite color?
Primarily black. But I like the deep and rich colors.
7. Food?
I would have to say if I could only pick one kind...seafood.
8. Pastime?
Anything outdoors.
9. Music?
I love all music with the exception of rap and country.
10. Poet?
Robert Frost (specifically The Road Not Taken)
11. TV show?
Not much of a tv junkie, so lately it's been repeats of Angel and CSI (the original)
12. Movie?
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Seriously, I would have to break it down by genre.
13. Book?
The League of Night and Fog or anything by Mary Higgins Clark.
14. Pets?
LOL, you asked for it.
7 dogs- 4 Yorkies, 1 Pug, 1 Cocker Spaniel, and the queen...the Siberian Husky.
1 very loud blue front Amazon parrot.
2 turtles and 6 fish.
This doesn't count the wild animals who have decided that I'm their new caretakers.
15. Talents?
I play keys (both piano and organ) and can play a little guitar. Oh, and I have been told the way I play darts is a talent - don't ask!
16. Jobs?
Currently I am officially unemployed due to a disability. But I do volunteer work as a counselor as I am trying to get licensure to open my own counselling center.
------------------------------
Your Life on allpoetry, and within your poetry
1. Give me a brief rundown of your history on AP. In other words, how did you get here?
I was invited to join AP from a member of another poetry site I belonged to after being trashed for my writing. Haven't looked back since.
2. How long have you been a member of All Poetry?
Since January of 2006
3. When did you first begin to write?
Around 6 years old, I used to draw and write my own comic strips. One of my teachers encouraged me to write after seeing this and I have been doing so ever since.
4. What kind of poetry do you write the most?
Dark, Sensual, Etc.
I came here with the primary of sensual/adult writing, but lately it's been a lot about love and life
5. Who are your influences?
My influences come from nature and life for the most part. No who about it.
6. What feeds your desire to continue writing poetry?
It allows me to express who I am and who I wish to be. But it has also let me overcome obstacles in my past, so I look forward to that next piece from my heart and mind.
7. What advice would you give to growing poets?
Honestly, I feel there is no wrong poetry. Writing most often comes from the heart, and who is there to say that is wrong? Take critisism with a grain of salt, and always write for you... no one else can do it for you.

Anything else you can think of.
Practice makes perfect!
