Done*happy*

This is just one way to make a tile in Paint!
There are many, many ways... draw, spraycan, paste, on & on
Play around with it, the more you do it the more you will learn on your own…

What you’ve learned here for Ms Paint, you can apply to other programs as well, making them even better…

...

Also ... these tiles made in "Paint" (Your own creations) can then be taken into different programs and enhanced/colorized/tinted ... on and on ...

Endless possibilities...

CLICK EDIT - PASTE AGAIN

MOVING THE BKGRD UP [ON TOP] OF THE OTHER [SEE BELOW] LINE THEM UP

STEP 2

FIND THE SAME BKGRD YOU HAVE OPEN ALREADY

HIGHLIGHT IT & CLICK OPEN

[YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE TWO WINDOWS OF THE SAME BKGRD OPEN]

CLICK ON THE RECTANGLE SELECTION TOOL

LEFT CLICK ON THE BORDER AT A CORNER STARTING POINT

AND DRAG THE - - - LINES TO COVER THE ENTIRE BORDER PART

LET GO - CLICK EDIT - COPY

NOW

CLICK BACK OVER TO THE OTHER MS PAINT WINDOW WHERE YOU'VE BEEN EDITING

CLICK EDIT - PASTE

NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS BELOW

TICK FLIP HORIZONAL AND CLICK OK

.

HERE IS THE FINISHED BORDERED BACKGROUND

CLICK FILE - SAVE

...

THERE IS A SHORTER WAY BUT FOR THIS TUTORIAL I CHOSE THE LONGER ONE.

To give a better understanding...

The other way would be to work with the BORDER only...

it would end up looking like this
