Tutorial: Scaling tubes in Paint Shop Pro 7


Here is a tube of a flower placed on the canvas at 100% of its original size.
As you can see it is rather large, for most projects.





But you can reduce the scale (size) of the tube as you will see in the next image.

I changed the scale down to 50% of its original size.

Now you can see that the tube is considerably smaller

when placed on the transparent window than in the above picture.

 


You can now copy and paste the flower into any other project you have going.



Let’s try shadowing this flower first:

Click on EFFECTS – 3D EFFECTS – DROP SHADOW


 

Just play around with the controls until you find what you want.

Then click OK



You can also try some of the other special effects from the EFFECTS menu

You could even put this smaller flower back into the tubs list.

Click on FILE – EXPORT – PICTURE TUBE
