Animation Shop 3 - Image effect

 

OPEN ANIMATION SHOP3

CLICK
FILE – NEW 125 X 125 – TRANSPARENT

 

CLICK
DROPPER - and choose a COLOR

CLICK
TEXT TOOL ((A)) and click on the frame

Find WINGDINGS or DINGBATS or any SYMBOL FONT and highlight it.

Keep typing into the window until you find a SYMBOL you like
Choose the largest font size that will fit into the frame (experiment)

 

 

 

CLICK – OK

 

CLICK
EFFECTS – INSERT IMAGE EFFECTS
From the DROPDOWN MENU choose EXPLODE (see diagram below)

 

 

 

CLICK OK



It is finished.

Once you have made this one, paste it in the comments area below as an HTML tag link

Then repeat all of these steps, making a few more of the IMAGE EFFECTS

You can use different sizes colors even names…

Tutorial –

PSP Animation Shop - Blinking Name

 

1. OPEN ANIMATION SHOP

 

2. Click FILE – NEW

 

3. Fill in – 300 – 150 (Opaque) BLACK

Click OK

 

 

4. Click on DROPPER  and click on a bright color

from the COLOR CHART at the far right of the screen

 

 

5. Click on TEXT (A)

 

6. Click on the new frame window you created (the ADD TEXT BOX will appear)

 

 

7. Choose a font style (any you like)

under STYLE - highlight REGULAR

under SIZE choose any number value that will fit in the screen

under TEXT EFFECTS tick ANTIALIAS

under ALIGNMENT tick CENTER

in the ENTER TEXT HERE BOX ((write your name))

Click OK

 

8. Don’t move the mouse, the text will be automatically centered,

just CLICK again and it will be set in the frame

 

 

 

9. Click EDIT – DUPLICATE SELECTED

 

 

Now click on the EDGE of the window and drag the window

to make it bigger, (there should now be 2 identical frames)

((half size for this tutorial))

 

 

10. Click on ARROW  from the tools bar at the top of the screen

and click on the second name to select it, "if" it has been deselected

it needs to be BLUE like above

 

11. Click on DROPPER  and click on a different bright color

from the COLOR CHART at the far right of the screen

 

12. Click on TEXT (A)

 

13. Click on the second frame you duplicated

your name should still be there in the edit box, just click OK

 

14. Don’t move the mouse, the text will be automatically centered

over the duplicated name, (if not align it over the old name)

and CLICK on the frame to set it in place

15. Click on ARROW  from the tools bar at the top of the screen

and click on the second frame to select it (if it has been deselected)

 

16. Click EDIT – DUPLICATE SELECTED

(now you should have 3 frame names)

Click on ARROW   from the tools bar at the top of the screen

and click on the third frame to select it, "if" it has been deselected (it needs to be the only one highlighted BLUE)

  18. Click on DROPPER  and click on a different bright color

from the COLOR CHART at the far right of the screen

 

19. Click on TEXT (A)

 

20. Click on the third frame you duplicated

your name should still be written in the edit box, just click OK

 

21. Don’t move the mouse, the text will be automatically centered

over the duplicated name, (if not align it over the old name)

and CLICK on the frame to set it in place (half size for this tut)

 

 

 

22. Click on the VIEW ANIMATION tab  at the top right of the screen

(it looks like a small film strip)

 

23. Click on FILE – SAVE AS

 

24. Name your animation; find the file where you want it saved,

save as CompuServe Graphics Interchange [*.gif]

Click SAVE – NEXT – NEXT – NEXT – FINISHED

 

Congrats!

 

You can make different colored backgrounds or even transparent

Don’t be afraid to experiment, try out the EFFECTS menu also,

it has some very nice effects in there. You can create unique

designs using dingbats. Have fun creating!!!
