It is what it is

Pondering the difference perspective can make.
So something I was thinking about today was how much a difference our perspective can make in a given situation. Say for example you are in a store and the cashier messes up something pretty simple, or they say something and it catches you the wrong way, and really you have a few choices.
You can get angry or irritated, let this moment ruin a good day.
Or you can let it go, consider that maybe the person is there doing there job just like you have to sometimes be doing your job and maybe they make mistakes sometimes like we all make mistakes sometimes.
Then maybe you could say something nice and smooth the situation over, you can laugh about it if it feels right and just feel good.
I try really hard when I'm out there in the world to remember that for the most part people don't go out of their way to step on other peoples toes and really you don't have to get angry about it. It's hard when sometimes someone yells at you for apparently stepping on your toes when you weren't even aware of it, so why go out and be that someone who does that?
I think about this because I have my moments where I do the wrong thing, and I would hope that there are other people out there who are willing to give me a chance to prove that just because I make mistakes doesn't mean that that is all I do. So I can show them that I am capable, I am worthwhile. If only we all took the time to see, WE are worthwhile.
