my rants

So like men have really annoyed me lately well except one who is really sweet and total fun to be around. He is probably just as protective of my son as I am. He totally rocks there's no doubt about that he is one of the greatest guys I've ever met and that's saying alot since I've not met many guys that are any good. Any way the point to this column was to rant about what bugs me about guys and now it has turned in to me talking about monkey boy so I will get back to what annoys me.

Why is it that when a guy finds out your a single teen mum they turn tail and run?
  I'll tell you why their a bunch of babies themselves and don't want to be a good man even though they like the chick.
How come people are all about praising a single dad for talking care of his kid(s) but look down on single mothers?
Yes more times then not a mother will do whats right and take care of her kids but doing so alone is no easy thing let me tell you, and I understand why people praise single fathers but what about those single mothers who give up everything to care for their kid(s)? I think that people need to take a step back and realize that its not an easy choice to live with and that its hell of hard raising a child on your own no matter if your a single mother or father its hard and a little sexist to one praise single fathers for doing the right thing. Why would you expect a woman to do the right thing but not a man? I can tell you that there are plenty of dead beat mothers out there.
Why do men assume that since you have a kid that you will put out right away?
I know that not all men are like this but it seems like that. Just because some one has a kid doesn't mean that she is easy.
How come men aren't looked at badly when they sleep around but if a chick does shes a slut?
Shouldn't men and women be held at the same standards?
It seems as though women are set to a double standard with almost everything why is that?
And why do men assume that once they are with a chick that they can beat on them, um look this is to the abusers out there women aren't your property to throw around and hurt so grow some balls and man up and stop hitting the woman you supposedly love.

OK so this turned in to me ranting about not just men but oh well I needed to rant about some stuff and now that I have I feel better.
