    Normally

I would score this sonnet at something like 98%.
In using the method of isolated marking (as many teachers do) I find this famous poem gets, for me - pretending the poem is by say, you - Structure: 10% as there is no clearly defined turn or volta.
Content: 10% as there is just too much repetition that is unneeded.
Texture: 30% as the lines do have a certain jerkiness; the diction is predictable; the penultimate line has uncertain punctuation.
Evocation: Even for the late C19 the use of old-fashioned English evokes a biblical effect thaT IS SPIRITUAL RATHER THAN EVOCATIVE OF PASSIONATE LOVE THAT SHOULD EXIST BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN. lOOK AT A MUCH EARLIER POEM BY bURNS WITH THE PASSION THERE!
    Evocation: 22%.

Total: 72% It could earn a bronze at AP.

However, if I read this aloud to myself several times, read it silently, then looked at the totality of its impact, I'd give it 98% and a first rate Gold.

    Try:

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
    I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death."
