The lover as rapist: An alarming trend

Unacceptable no matter what way you look at it.
Rape is rape. No means NO. It does not matter how far the rapist is allowed to go. A women's clothing has nothing to do with it. When the woman says NO, she means NO. Not maybe if I just push it she'll just agree. When you are violated by man or woman, it does not only harm your body, it harms your spirit when you are violated by one you trust.

There are many different kinds of rape. They can rape your body, or rape your mind by with holding information you should have or duping you with lies to get what they want. They can rape your bank account, which should be self explanatory. They can also rape your spirit by enforcing their will upon you and destroying your life if you do not capitulate.

I believe that rape of the spirit or denying and raping you of your humanity is far worse than any physical rape. You heal from physical wounds. However your psyche scars never get a chance to heal. Instead you are medicated for being depressed or given a behavioral deficiency diagnosis and medicated or committed to an institution for care.

As long as domestic violence is allowed to happen, men will continue to rape us. They are the stronger sex physically, and in this society given free reign to enforce their will upon women and any creature they decide they have a right to beat or kill. I suppose that in their own book written for them, by them, about them, they created themselves in the image of their God, when in actuality they created their God in the image of them.

This is good work and I agree entirely. Your journalistic style is effective and as for the subject matter, they are spot on. Although I am a bit surprised that most girls don’t enjoy getting fucked across gravel at knife point followed by a good smack in the head or the possibility of being stabbed- working on the theory, if it was alright for Attila the Huns soldiers well it must be okay as they set the bench mark along with the Japanese soldiers at Nanking. I know- what…no flowers? I have two daughters and rape is sometimes way more subtle than simple butchery. No should mean “no” or at the very least a knee in the nuts. The fact is some men really are worse than animals. My two favourite rape stories are when a girl, trying to avoid her attacker jumped over a fence only to land on a road thirty feet below and break her leg. A good Samaritan stopped and raped her. The other was a girl who was so utterly pissed fell down unconscious in a car park at the hotel. She was promptly gang banged by about 15 patrons. Moments like that makes you proud to be a human. This is a good piece.

      Thank you.

And yeah, sometimes I wonder if I am even from this planet, because I really am ashamed to admit I am not only a member of the human race (hence, my dragonblue persona), but an American in this deceitful, lying sack of shit (pardon my english) democracy that victimizes the victim, and coddles the perpertrator.

I constantly remind myself that not all humans are two faced pricks, not all men are lying thieves, not all women are back stabbing bitches and there really is a universe of justice that is always watching you. Animals are my preferred circle of friends.

Sometimes I sing out the lines to an old Simon and Garfunkle song, "I am a ROCK, I am an ISLAND. And a rock feels no pain. An island never crys. I use my stories and my poetry to protect me, I am surrounded in my armor, I touch no one, and no one touches me. I am a ROCK, I am an ISLAND. And a rock feels no pain. An island never crys."

Thank you again for your reading and reviewing my work.

      Blessed Be~
