On March 31, 2008, Valerie Lucinda Chase-Williams, age 42, went with God on a journey around the world. She packed her bags in anticipation of the long peaceful trip. We didn't want her to go. We said we would miss her too much. God had other plans though.
We watched as she suffered with leukemia and begged for a miracle to take place. God answered our prayers but not in a favored way. But we know that she is safe with God. Rest in peace, darling one.
Brian prepared himself for Valerie's long trip but he wasn't ready to say goodbye yet. He held her hand as she boarded God's plane to freedom. His face was bunched up in sorrow. We held him in our arms as her breath became less frequent. We pulled him away to let God go from here.
We love you, Val. We'll miss you forever.
I am sad to report the death of my sister-in-law, Valerie. Valerie fought a courageous fight with leukemia for 2 years before this devastating disease took her. Rest in peace, darling sister. We all love and will miss your grace.

My heartfelt sympathy on the heartbreaking loss of your beloved sister in law Valerie. it is so hard to watch a loved one suffer, may you draw comfort that she is no longer suffering, and that one day you will all be reunited in Gods love. My heart and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad, painful time. May God help you to endure through this, and know that others care for you and your beloved sister in law now at rest and free from pain.
