mmm, the south. [an update]

Well, I'm home again after being gone for almost a week. My apologies for the lack of commenting/reading/posting, etc. I'll catch up on all my favorites' work very soon, I hope.
In other news, Amie is home!! It's been a long and extremely rough 5.5 months, and I know that everything won't be "sunshine and lemonade" from here on out, but I'm feeling beyond blessed that, at the very least, I have my sister back-- new and improved, yet still the same spunky ball of fire who I love more than life and breath.
Meanwhile, I'm working on a novel-in-verse, and if anyone who has successfully finished a novel of any sort wants to give me advice, I am more than happy to hear it. I have a pretty remarkable collection of incomplete novels, so any tips on how to make sure this one doesn't end up there... would be appreciated.
