This is no easy for me to do. My long journey on AllPoetry has been wonderful. Yet I feel that my poetry is not getting me anywhere here. Like a baby bird learning to fly. My bird has failed to learn. Thus I must take my leave. I feel as if I have lost the prowess and style of my older works and nothing is as good anymore. I forgot what I write for. I write for myself, I write for the entertainment of others. But I have lost myself somewhere. Due to this block in myself I will not be posting anymore poems on AllPoetry, I will continue to write though just in privacy. There are better talents out there anyway. I cannot compare. To all I have met and commented on, "Thank You."

I am sorry to hear that you will no longer be posting, like Shadow said, it is a popularity contest and I am truly sorry I have not been on in a while to read any of your recent writes for more than a glance.
But I wish you happiness along the path you have chosen, do what makes YOU happy, you do not live your life for others but for yourself. I hope you find what you are seeking.

I understand your decision, but alot of people don't get comments it is kind of a popularity contest here. Your newer works are good. People get rejected ten million times before they get anywhere. Many start on shameless and hope for the best.
