poetry and love

poetry and its role in the conquest of the desired heart.
As anyone that has a heart which beats knows, theres an answer that eludes you. how to be loved by whom you love? can there ever or is there a universal cure for that? an answer that shows true love that a man can have. and what of me? what of this poet? is a verse even worth the paper it is written on? It was then that I realized that a poet is not what it used to be. Now girls only want the good looking guy, the one with the cool car and the fat wallet. ( be it most but hopefully not all) A poet's want to treat a woman with the respect she deserves, to love her unconditionally and faithfully, and his endless night of putting that on paper is unfortunately useless, against any of the things mentioned. I cant help but to feel depressed and wonder at the thought " what woman would want me? a poet!" I believe that for the most part it is simply the stage of being an eighteen-year old that allows immaturity to prevail over poetry, and hopefully I am right, althought there is evidence to suggest otherwise. Poetry is truly more beautiful than the latest model of any car, but it is not perceived as its equal by many. The arts are in agony, there is no point in dissimulating it, But I will still write, for my words are the only thing that I have to give. i will write because that special girl is nowhere to be found and i can only dream of seeing her again. so i tell you anonymous person, who would ever want me? a poet
