Good to hear it, if your common subject is love you might want to try tanka. Tanka is very good for delivering the emotion of the poet, yet still keeping the haiku solid image.
A little note.
haiku is both singular and plural. As in...
I have one haiku
I have two haiku
I have three haiku.
