Take a moment if you please, and pause in prayer. At 8:48 am on Tuesday 9/11/2001 an airplane slammed into one of the Trade Center towers, moments later one would slam into the Pentagon, and another into the other tower. In an act of defiance and of bravery,
the very last plane's plans were deterred by those courageous people who lost their lives in a field in PA.
Six years later, we cannot replace what was lost, but we can remember those who gave all in prayers. Yes, it brings me to tears, but we shall prevail!
Many friends, many loved ones were lost that day, families were torn apart, and my heart truly goes out to all of those victims.
Since the war began, I came across families of soilders, have seen friends go into combat, and sadly have even lost a few. So today, I ask only, wear the colors with pride, fly your flags a little lower, and may God Bless The USA!!!
also, you may check out my page @ http://www.myspace.com/theroseislovely for a video clip and song by Alan Jackson called Where were you?
On this most solemn of days, we pause to reflect; the casualities of 9/11 and remember those who gave all.
