For a year now AP has been my home away from home. My world could not go on if I couldnt get online to see if my favorites had written anything new. This site has opened doors for me when I thought all were locked. Many people from all over the earth I have met and formed strong and unbreakable bonds. Out of love, kindness, and admiration I've produced a family of talented and beautiful souls. People that I will never in my life forget. My appreciation for poetry has expanded, and I no longer have a one-sided view of it. There are many forms in this art that I will soon attempt and possible master. Looking back I see a confused and broken girl with nothing to lose. No I feel like somewhere out there is a second chance [[even though it may not show in my poetry; old habits die hard lol]] I've grown so much as poet, and as a human being, yet I still have a long way to go.
Despite its many flaws AP is like a sanctuary to me
