Embedding Video in your poems

Tips on new video posting feature of AP
Initial Preparation:
Have a few drinks. Then follow these steps:

1. First go to youtube.com and create an account if you don't have one already.

2. Write and post the poem you wish to add video to if you haven't already.

3. Select add video. You'll notice a link and warning in step 4. Copy the URL. (*do not navigate away from this page.)

4. Make a video of your lame self speaking poetry or something infinitely more creative.

5. Upload it to You Tube.

6. Place the URL grabbed from step 3 of this document into the description.

7. Copy the URL automatically generated upon posting (You'll need this later.)

8. Wait for YouTube to process the video.

9. Select Submit poem.

Gotchas:

If you try to submit the poem before the video is processed you'll get an error.
If you've just written the poem and haven't posted it the URL referred to in step 3 won't be there,
so submit the poem, then add the video afterwards.

good luck.

but wow, do you think I shall be able to do this? I get the shivers thinking of reading my poemies on a VIDEO! You do it so naturally, as if you are reading to the beat of an inner song!

Soooooooo. When I am totally brave, I may try this. Thank you, Da'ling!

Just do it. Get everything in place. When you make something you think you like post it. You'll rarely post the first take.
