Writing is the most unique form of artwork

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I guess my little column here today is about respect for the fellow poet...when we comment on another's work it is important to be honest, but being honest doesn't mean you have to be brutal....Writing is indeed the most unique form of art because we as writers pour out our hearts and souls and when someone makes it negative comment on it...it tends to drag us down, but in fact it should lift us up. You see, I could go on forever about how we need to respect each other, but really we just all need to be honest with one another. I may read something and not like it, but I'm not going to say "oh that sucks", give some ideas for improvement and if you as the reader think that there is something not quite in place then don't be afraid to share your opinion, we writers value it and should aprreciate it, for you the reader are teaching us how to improve our literature.
