'Good' and 'Evil'

who defined 'Good' at being so good
and 'Evil' to be so evil?
Upon creation
There lies all matter of creatures
Bird, fish, reptile, mammal
Man lived in the last
He was dumb
Unknowing but uncaring
He was not very unlike
His fellow animals
Adapting and changing
Thus surviving
In packs and hordes
Man was happy
For he was unknowing

Now the two spirits
‘Good’ and ‘Evil’
Lie in a heated debate
To whom was better
‘Good’ claimed it was the better
In it’s power and forwardness
‘Evil’ claimed it was the better
With its mild manner and deception

‘Good’ and ‘Evil’
Were arriving at no conclusion
So they chose an animal
Probably at random
They choose man
They gave him
Free-will, intelligence, and the prize
A soul

Man became unhappy
He was aware of himself
He knew things
That was formally unknown
He was aware that there was something more

Now
‘Good’ and ‘Evil’
Had their game pieces
The game was to get as many souls as possible
And they did every thing they could
To collect these souls
The souls were tallies
To whom was better

‘Good’ and ‘Evil’
Spilt the species
Into two
Yang and ying
Male and female
‘Good’ took the males
And ‘Evil’ took the females
To influence them how they want

Over the years
‘Good’ instigated as it would
Giving this animal
‘morals’ and ‘laws’
Whereas ‘Evil’ slipped in
‘independence’ and ‘rebellion’

Bu t today
Today
I wonder
If they are still playing
Their little game
Or did they just gave up
And let us run havoc

Why is this a column rather than a poem?

simply stated it doesnt flow like a poem it is just me writing in short hand over the whole good and evil thingy, thus not a poem.
