Welcome all my friends, so do you think you have what
it takes to be the allpoetry greatest poet....Well
heres your chance I will be holding a contest, but first I would like to know who shall be placed as the
top poets of this site, then they will battle it out,
all I ask now is that you give me your best poem you've
written thus far (not a poem that you have written
for anyother contest) in a link and I will read it
if I like it you will move on to the contest and
for the chance to win 1000 points and the title
of allpoetry Champion, sound like fun....We'll see

My god talk about pressure lol.
I'm so indecisive when it comes to my writes, to put them in contests.
I guess it's worth a shot, doesn't hurt to try, and not only that win or lose everyone is a winner in my eyes when it comes to writing because your speaking out your heart in words and that's something everyone should be proud of. -

Good morning. I have been giving your "Give it your all' contest some thought. First off- thank you for your invitation. I have no idea how it came about but it was a nice gesture.
I am, I'm afraid, relucent to enter.
Hosting a contest is like curating a exhibition or conducting an orchestra or publishing anthologies. The end product is only as good as the one leading.
I took some time to view 20 of your 774 poems. I must say the sheer number of them are impressive. It took me 10 years to write about 30.
Based on the 20 I did see, may I suggest you offer this challenge contest to teens who are writing on the same style and level of content as yourself? It would be a more fairly judged contest.
