Thank You Everyone

Thank you all for being such a wonderful supporting friends during these last three months. I have been in a Rest Home convalescing due to deterioration in my health. I am well on the road to recovery now, though still on oxygen 24/7.
I'm on that much medication I could just about start my own pharmacy .... LOL
I was hospitalized on Christmas Eve and spent 4 weeks in total care with numerous complaints. Seems my body gave up in several areas all at the same time.
From cellulitis to congestive heart failure not to mention diabetes and psoriasis.
My lungs are shot making breathing difficult hence the oxygen.
My early medication had me hallucinating and at one stage I thought I was a candidate for the funny farm! (I always have been a little mad .... LOL :-)
My ability to write coherently has returned. I was able to read messages etc. on Allpoetry but replying was another story.
It was all very frustrating.
However I have progressed from bed to wheelchair to 2 sticks to one stick although walking any distance is a no-no.

    I have thought about you often Sammy, hoping that all was OK, it seems it was not, am so glad you are on the road to recovery.... it has been a long time since I wandered the dreamweavers page, I will return to reaquaint myself with your words

    It is wonderful to see you around here again Sammy you have been sorely missed! When I saw you lit up, I know you would be sat there trying to keep up with what was going on here on AP.
    The hugs, smiles and endearing thoughts everyone would be leaving for you would I know be a boost for you, would encourage you, would let you know we were thinking off you and missing you very much, so, no matter that you were not able to reply my dear man, we all know you would be thinking of us all to
    I am so pleased that you have successfully come through all you have gone through recently. I know it would be most frustrating for you, but you have come through it with your usual smile and determination... just take your time, one foot at a time, one day at a time.

    Gosh I didn't know anyhtiong about this... I'm glad you're doing better now, and I hope you continue to recover. You have been a main inspiration to me since I first joined in 2001... you're poems have touched my greatly... you have a restrait, but emotional approach.. and the readers here have fallen in love with your work. So get well, and post again, as soon as you can.

    It's so good to hear from you, Sammy. wow, you've been through a lot in the last few months!! I'm glad you're doing so much better and will keep you in my prayers for a complete recovery... or as close to that as you can get

    Now I'll be keeping an eye out for some new poetry when you feel up to it, but most important is that you take care of yourself.

    It is so good to hear that you are doing much better. Doesn't sound like you had much of a Christmas or a New Year. I do sincerely hope that your health continues to improve and that you grow stronger with each passing day. I was unaware that you were having so many different health problems at the same time, but it is so wonderful to hear that you are making such tremendous progress. Many prayers are going up for you Sammy. I wish you well, and I will be praying for a speedier recovery for you. s
