To judge your contest, you must first be on the page of your contest. At the top of the page, under and to the right of your contest’s title, you will see four links: (bookmark) (print) (next) (edit) (judge entries). Click on (judge entries) That will take you to a page that looks similar to this:

In the top dropdown box next to First Place, select which entry you have chosen to be awarded first place in your contest. Then repeat that for second and third places in their appropriate dropdown boxes.
In the blank box directly beneath Closing message is where you type I your final notes. There are different ways to do this. You can thank everyone who entered, and even list the winners of trophies and or honorable mentions if you chose to award any. Or whatever you want. You could consider looking at how others have done their final notes to get an idea of how you might want to do it.
But, please remember that when you complete your judging, you cannot change or edit your final notes, so please be mindful of what you say.
Once you have done that, click on the Judge Contest button
The points you originally designated when you posted your contest will automatically go to the winner of the first place trophy. Any additional points you wish to first place or the other trophy winners must be done manually. To do that, click here: allpoetry.com/Column/1564275 and it will explain how to give additional points to members.
When the judging is over and the contest is complete, you will receive a message from Kevin awarding you points as a thank you for judging your contest. That is when you know you are all done with the contest.
One last note
Once your contests are judged, they cannot be deleted from the system. Only contests that have not awarded trophies can be deleted. If you made a mistake with handing out trophies, do not worry. Simply contact a Site Moderator – www.allpoetry.com/moderators
