In this course you will learn to compose a Sestina. I’ve devised an easy way to start so you don’t get confused. I call the method; “The Grid Method”. After you feel more comfortable with the Sestina, you will not have to use it.
Objectives:
1. Learn a brief history of the Sestina.
2. Understand the components of the form and the names for each structure.
3. Learn how to make the “Grid” (A simplified way to avoid confusion).
4. Learn how to chose the repeating words.
5. To write a Tritina (a simpler form than the Sestina with a similar structure).
6. To write a finished Sestina.
