I am new to All Poetry and certainly pleased to have found such a great online community of writers!

My interests include writing (poetry, prose, journal, song, skit and personal essay), art (I enjoy combining text with visual art), reading (reading the works of others is a source of inspiration for me and challenges me to try new things), perfomance art, costume design, and film.

Although I have been writing for 11 years (on and off) I have no technical training. I write about what is interesting to me. I write to give a voice to my personal struggles. I write because it keeps me healthy.

My immediate goals as a writer are to learn more about the technical aspects of writing (poem structure, punctuation, character developement, etc...), and to concentrate on becoming more descriptive in my writing.

I look forward to connecting with other writers here and being inspired by the works available at this site!

I'm inssesently busy throughout the week pursuing creative stuff and working. So if I don't get around to reviews right away it's not because I'm ignoring you. I like to take substantial time to read, and properly review the work out of respect for the writer. I will normally take time for reading and revieiwing on Sundays.
