I'd like to be remembered for being a good, kind woman (if horribly cheeky). I hope my kids will remember me kindly, and not for the dusting....

CelticQueen : I'm so glad you found me! on March 28, 2008I've just read half a dozen of your poems, one after the other and only stopped because I've run out of time. I've not left comments, but I will. I just got involved in the reading for now.
I simply love your unique way of expressing a thought. Some of the British idioms I don't get, so I'll have to ask you about, but the general idea comes sailing right around the world. People are the same, no matter what our accents, right?
I'll be 60 next month - I get old this year - and I'd always said that for my 60th birthday I was going to adopt a British accent. However, now that it's here, I can't think how to do it. Perhaps you could teach me?
I look forward to getting to know you. I think I will like you rather a lot. celtic queen

silky fur
a friendly paw
a throaty purr
When you vanish
then I find
that sneaky grin
you leave behind -
