I'm a 62 year old woman from Arkansas. I live on a small farm, and raise Easter Egg chickens (they lay colored eggs) and German Shepards.I also have a large garden and a small orchard (4 fruit trees), and I can the fruits and vegetables of my labor. I'm married to a wonderful man (most of the time), and he does most of the work around the ponderosa.
I think the government needs to be overthrown, and that we have all been brainwashed by religion. I work as a manager for a small tobacco outlet (head shop) part-time, and do quilting in my spare time.
My daughter is also a member of All Poetry, and inspired me to write on my own. I just entered my first contest today (6/01/08). What a thrill. I've always loved to write, but consider my poetry amateurish (sp)!!!! But I'll keep trying.
