I don't write poetry for the sake of it, which sometimes means that my poetic devices and the like are usually pretty poor, but you know. It's almost nicer that way sometimes, I think... where you just write from the heart.
Well, that's what I do. I write whatever I'm feeling, be it sadness or happiness or a mix of the two.
My poetry isn't necessarily the best, or the most advanced, or even the most thought through. In fact, it's probably pretty average! But it's definately from the heart.
And I think that's what counts.
