The intimidation of a blank page. When the pen meets the paper, will what I write mean what I intended? Is it possible, using only words, to perfectly describe a moment? forever? a wish? a hope? a dream? a feeling? Perhaps it's possible, but am I capable? Often I sit at night with an empty notebook on my desk, a pencil in my hand, the fear of failure lingering in my mind.

cheergurl on May 10, 2005Thanks, Dara. Yeah, I deleted that one because I didn't really like how it turned out. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, perhaps I'll undelete it. Thanks for the comment!

Angeles on May 10, 2005I was going to comment on one of your recent poems, but it seems to have been deleted. I still though, wanted to tell you that it really reached out to me. Its something that I have been thinking about alot lately, breaking my consentration from everything else. The fact of watching the one you love hurt, I mean. In anyways at all.
So I am glad you wrote that. And I just wanted to tell you that it was a great write.
