::The Quitter::
It's the plugging away
that will win you the day
So don't be a piker, old pard!
Just draw on your grit;
it's so easy to quit.
It's the keeping-your-chin-up
that's hard.
It's easy to cry
that you are beaten, and die
It's easy to crawfish and crawl
But to fight and to fight
when hope's out of sight-
why, that's the
best game of them all!
And though
you come out of each gruelling bout,
All broken and beaten and scarred
Just have one more try-
it's dead easy to die
It's the keeping-on-living that's hard.

The world is full of suffering,
it is also full of the overcoming of it.

when worlds collide call me. when things inside hurt tell me. just dont do anything to make it worse. because nothing in stronger than what i feel. and if you can break that and get inside my head, mess up the wires that make me alive- then you are something.April 11, 100 words. → Make first comment?

i see everything. and things twirl like rainbows . i always thought rainbows were great, you know. but i havent seen many in my 17.5 years. maybe it's like looking for silver linings. it's pretty hard. you have to know where to look. then. things stop. the world slaps you, you stumble, lApril 11, 300 words. → 3 comments, Add one?
