"A poem is never finished, only abandoned."
- Paul Valery (1871-1945)

Great change is coming forth, the gods we have once

worshiped have fallen. Leaders take over and push forth

the past. History will forever again and again repeat

itself with the lack of knowledge. Novels will tie in to

one another. Stories will forever haunt the minds who

they appear in front of. Victory no longer stands with

those who appear to win battles. We have all lost the

war.

No one knows the truth, they are at fault of this true

statement of mine.

They refuse to know the truth of life.

A problem is only a glitche of the mind,

Life is not too short to be pissed of all the time.

Being angry gets you closer to seeing what the truth

really is.

Life is not always about happiness and love.

Love does not exist in 99% of the world.

It isn't because you just cannot seem to find the one

you love.

It is because you have not yet discovered what it really

is.

Everyone believes they really know but they have not.

For some reality has just begun, for some you have time

to wait.

If you know what love is you can clearly explain what

love is without hestiation.

It isn't just wanting to be with the person or you

cannot get enought of them.

It is not because you have a sexual desire for them or

you want their security.

It does not always mean you love the person.

Rarely does it mean you love them.

Gothic people don't know what love is.

There is a heaven and a hell.

Throughout history and life they will continue to battle

one another through all time.

Religion does not bring you closer to the lord.

You yourself bring yourself closer to the lord.

You yourself can also bring yourself closer to hell.

Self Pity

I never saw a wild thing feel sorry for itself.

A small bird will drop frozen dead from a branch

without ever having felt sorry for itself.

ALL I ASK

All I ask of a woman is that she shall feel gently towards
me
when my heart feels kindly towards her,
and there shall be the soft, soft tremor as of unheard bells
between us.
It is all I ask.
I am so tired of violent women lashing out and insisting
on being loved, when there is no love in them.

JEALOUSY

The jealousy of an ego-bound woman
is hideous and fearful,
it is so much stronger than her love could ever be.

The jealousy of an ego-bound woman
is a fearful thing to behold
The eog revealed in all its monstrous inhumanity.

MYSTERY

by: D.H. Lawrence (1885-1930)

OW I am all
One bowl of kisses,
Such as the tall
Slim votaresses
Of Egypt filled
For a God's excesses.

I lift to you
My bowl of kisses,
And through the temple's
Blue recesses
Cry out to you
In wild caresses.

And to my lips'
Bright crimson rim
The passion slips,
And down my slim
White body drips
The shining hymn.

And still before
The altar I
Exult the bowl
Brimful, and cry
To you to stoop
And drink, Most High.

Oh drink me up
That I may be
Within your cup
Like a mystery,
Like wine that is still
In ecstasy.

Glimmering still
In ecstasy,
Commingled wines
Of you and me
In one fulfil
The mystery.

A LOVE SONG

Reject me not if I should say to you
I do forget the sounding of your voice,
I do forget your eyes that searching through
The mists perceive our marriage, and rejoice.

Yet, when the apple-blossom opens wide
Under the pallid moonlight’s fingering,
I see your blanched face at my breast, and hide
My eyes from diligent work, malingering.

Ah, then, upon my bedroom I do draw
The blind to hide the garden, where the moon
Enjoys the open blossoms as they straw
Their beauty for his taking, boon for boon.

And I do lift my aching arms to you,
And I do lift my anguished, avid breast,
And I do weep for very pain of you,
And fling myself at the doors of sleep, for rest.

And I do toss through the troubled night for you,
Dreaming your yielded mouth is given to mine,
Feeling your strong breast carry me on into
The peace where sleep is stronger even than wine.

DH Lawrence

IF YOU ARE A MAN

If you are a man, and believe in the destiny of mankind
then say to yourself: we will cease to care
about property and money and mechanical devices,
and open our consciousness to the deep, mysterious life
that we are now cut off from.

The machine shall be abolished from the earth again;
it is a mistake that mankind has made;
money shall cease to be, and property shall cease to perplex
and we will find the way to immediate contact with life
and with one another.

To know the moon as we have never known
yet she is knowable.
To know a man as we have never known
a man, as never yet a man was knowable, yet still shall be.

DH Lawrence

NOTHING TO SAVE

There is nothing to save, now all is lost,
but a tiny core of stillness in the heart
like the eye of a violet.

DH Lawrence

PIANO

Softly, in the dusk, a woman is singing to me;
Taking me back down the vista of years, till I see
A child sitting under the piano, in the boom of the tingling strings
And pressing the small, poised feet of a mother who smiles as she sings.

In spite of myself, the insidious mastery of song
Betrays me back, till the heart of me weeps to belong
To the old Sunday evenings at home, with winter outside
And hymns in the cosy parlour, the tinkling piano our guide.

So now it is vain for the singer to burst into clamour
With the great black piano appassionato. The glamour
Of childish days is upon me, my manhood is cast
Down in the flood of remembrance, I weep like a child for the past.

Just thought I'd come by to see what's going on in your head... (and author pages are often a good indication). And what I see is interesting... some good poems.. and quotes... but just a few made me wonder..

'I am so tired of violent women lashing out and insisting
on being loved, when there is no love in them.' This reminded me of me... shameful.

You spoke a bit of religion here... Have you ever read C.S. Lewis' poetry...? I think you might like it...

Well... just one last thing... there is most definitely a Satan!!!
