I'm an American of mostly Irish descent. I was born and raised in Texas. I am retired after 30 years in the field of mental health services. I am a former paratrooper, Army officer and wounded two-tour veteran of the Vietnam War. I have been writing for personal exploration and publication since the age of eleven. I am a student of history and religion. I am a Christian and a spiritual pilgrim. I cherish my wife, kids, my large extended family and my small circle of very patient friends.
