I live in Canada and have only been serious about poetry for a little while. Years ago I was a suicidal maniac and wrote some then, but only as an outlet for my misery. Now I'm not suicidal, most of the time, and hope to compose some happier poems. I was born in the 1950's and hope to last until the 2050's. My grandmother's brother just died in February, 2008, making him 101 when he passed away. So I know it is possible. I hope you enjoy some of my poems like I enjoy reading yours.

Trench fever ruined Tim Burton's mind,
he longed to leave Europe -
colored leaves float down
to the frosty street pavement -
a computer screen flickers
in front of a man

KyleBerg on September 28From what I've read, your poetry is amazing. You seem to have a real talent for painting pictures with words
If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to get a BLUE trophy? I've never seen one of them before
Sorry to be a bother.
