HI, I am in England,in the Midlands,love poetry,write often for pleasure. I am Capricorn, d.o.b 23/12/1971.divorced with daughters aged 13 and 16. I have 4 cats,Willow,Mutley,Parsnip,Bootsie and one hamster. I am a child care professional. Never smoked,rarely drink,but do enjoy eating way to much! Chocalate and pizza are my favorites.I enjoy posting contests and am always overwhelmed by the high standard of entries.

You commented on the three poems I added to your contest. One of them, A Day At The Beach, was based on my memories of being taking to the beach by my father, and also, of taking my own kids to the beach. I am not oooop north, I live in the south east, in Kent. I was thinking of Whitstable, which is a lovely old town with a shingle beach, but there is also a goodly helping of tar from the oil tankers coming out of the Thames estuary, too!! New born was about my newly born grandaughter, now 7 weeks; and room full of chairs, about my 83 year old mum, with dementia, just gone into a home. Thanks for your comments!!
