I joined AP not really knowing too much about it, just coming across it on a google search for a poetry community. I like to come here and read poems, I sometimes come across poems that really spark a question or a thought in me. I love that! I think it's a great place to kill some time and pretend for awhile, that this is the equivalent of life for this moment! It also helps me to focus on writing and give it some thought and energy. It's a great thing to be able to peer into the souls and minds of others on occaision, it reminds me that Im not alone in this world's trials and tribulations. I love to write poetry but havent really ever shared it until now. I enjoy looking at all the different forms and styles of others on AP. Hope to meet a few of you along the way! For the ones I've already met, thanks for taking the time!!!!

my throbbing
and pounding heart
beats so hard
until you touch it
with your loving soul
filled with the love
of the whole Spirit
filling my heart so much
that I live to love
only you.......
your eyes shine
like pools of love
for me alone
