salty flavors piercing the brazen planks -
cringing fear can poison my sight
and feed the sensual hope to live -
on your shoulder, rest finally endures
dreams of longing calm dark fears10 lines, August 27. In Big points, Contest -
round and browned to such perfection
breathing steam in shallow puffs -
sticky sensations of heated sand
granules of rock that irritate -
a curling lip can promise more or
hold the honey of the purest promise -
eternity rises with the dawn
nightfall climbs with a lusty yawn -

sunny day : Welcome to All Poetry!!! on October 23, 2007I would like to take this time to say welcome to All Poetry and thank you for coming by my work. I just read a few of yours and I love the use of nature in your writings. Nature does seem to bring out the beauty of our work. I think that is because it is filled with so many wonders that our mind's eye gets to behold when we look into it and not just at it. I believe I have another favorite to add to my list that is well into the hundreds. It's very hard to keep up with all of them, though I try to get to everyone as much as I can.
