My name is Briana bla bla bla bla.. ok onto what I want to say..
Poetry is a way for me to express myself. i am inspired by pictures, friends, songs, and some is of personal origin. I sometimes start writing a poem and then am not able to finish it for a period of time. Rather frusterating, but I get it done.

Quotes and photography rank just as high as poetry in my life. Do not tell me you know me until I let you know that you know me.. Because.. I am way diffrent then you actually think!! I claim my Moravian and Irish heritage the most out of my heritages..

I have more guy friends then girl friends,
I am tough beyond belief and not scared of anything.
I don't show emotions, and builds up walls.
I know when the wall is about to be broken.
I trie to hold on to this life and tries to be strong.
I know when everything is just going wrong.

She was the girl who always carried a camera,
trying to find beauty in a world so flawed

People describe me as cheerful,
It's just a mask.
Child-like,
I never really grew up cause I was forced to grow-up.
Carefree,
I can't sleep because I'm worried about everything.
Hyper,
I need a distraction so I won't think about the pain.
And fun,
You can't cry if you're laughing.

Sometimes, I just wish someone would take
the time to go past my sarcasm, my loud mouth,
my smiling face,& my remarks
to see a part of me that few have ever seen.

The cracks in the concrete are just reminders
that we all fall apart sometimes
no matter how strong we are.

I think that we fear persuing help, healing, because of the pain we will have to go through to get it. The pain might even be worse then the actual wound in the
first place. So, we are left with a choice. We can let the poison fester and build, cripple, and potentially destroy us. Or we can choose to face it, fight it, cut it out and let it truly heal. all the way. ~ Renee Yohe
