Slipped on my shoes and made myself look somewhat right
Cause I can't be at home tonight
And I have no clue as to what I'm doin here but
Let me lay on your bed for a day
Cause it's a long time still until tomorrow
All my insecurities are breakin me up inside
You light another cigarette and my eyes are on the fire
Lightning strikes me only in waves
And I know I'm safe for now
But I know the rest is on it's way
I know it isn't easy
Nothin is the way I want it
All this will pass
Cause it's only as the day is long
