Well I'll start this with my name is Carol. I love to read and write but my favorite thing is singing. Some say I sing like an angel... but I can't help but doubt that because, I have wicked stage fright. I really started writing when my father died when I was 14. He died of liver cancer. And then after my 17th birthday my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Thank God it was sent into remission after 6 months of fighting. I am still 17 and full of life and glad to have writing to help me through deaths and heartache.
I am recently single but not out of the mind numbing pain that follows.
It's funny, the only time I find inspiration is in heartache and pain. So if I stop writing poetry well... good poetry then that means I'm too content with my life. Wish me luck!
