Wow....it's been almost a year since I've logged in...

I can't believe I wrote half of this stuff....

My life has changed so much...

"You've been gone so long

The pictures of you will start to weather

It seems to me you've got no sense of right and wrong

And it's not quite the same anymore when we're together



It'll be about 3 days that I'm willing to wait for you

But by then I'll be found trying something new

Emotions Flare

When people care

And it ends up back at you



Staring at the photograph with all it's tears and frays

And I'm sure by now it's been way more than 3 days

But the track of time was lost in the wake

Of all the problems that we've faced

This wasn't the greatest turn out, but it was a pretty good one.

These 2 poets did make my contest worthwhile, and I thank them, and

This was a wonderful contest! It was a challenge, so I do

understand why there were only 4 entries. Considering there

were 4 entries, I had to boot one out, and I hated doing

it. It was such a hard decision to make! LoSiNgRiP did a

wonderful job with "A Tragedy of Love". You should really

check out these poets, they are very talented. I hope there

are no hard feelings between any of the poets and I. You

all did wonderful!

Thank you all for helping! All of your ideas were

truely wonderful! It took me a while to determine which fit

best. I read, re-read, and then re-read the poem again,

then read and re-read all of your ideas, then finally reached

a conclusion. Thank you all so much!

The contest was a bit of a challenge in the fact it was on a personal

topc. I'm glad you all could open up the way you did. I enjoyed
