*I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
*I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned
*I believe the grass is greener on the other side
*I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye...
In what seemed like one split second I lost what I held most dear to
me…at the mere blink of an eye it was all gone…so I ran after you…and
held on as tight as my tiny hand could grasp. Already weak from all
the torment I could not allow myself to let go. Love that once shined
so bright turned dark and angry…I loved you more than I ever dreamed
of loving someone. You were the last star in my big lonely sky. My
only dream ever to come true…but now your going to end up like all
the rest. I tried…I tried so hard. But my love isn't enough anymore.
I will never forget you. My last star has fallen…
People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within....
Poetry spills from the cracks of a broken heart, but flows from one which is loved...

I have been writing poems and stories for as long as I can remember, since I was a little girl. It has always helped me express feelings that I couldn't articulate. My poems are mostly sad, but I'm not usually sad! I just seem to write best when I am! lol. I hope that someone can get something out of my poems because they help me cope with my feelings!

I never run out of words
when I speak to you ~
I only pause to catch my breath.
I feel so much, so deeply ~
I feel so hard, so fast ~
it's hard to remain lucid:
a thousand thoughts
explode in my mind
& voices soar...
You are Destiny discovered,
a Soul inclined
to Believe ~
how can I keep this distance?
Joy replaces Sorrow
in my eyes
when you suddenly come into view ~
I dance
(though you cannot see)
& fly through the space between us.
I need the Dreams,
the threads of Hope
that bind us
in Memory...
Please Remember
By LeAnn Rimes
time, sometimes the time just slips away
And your left with yesterday
Left with the memories
I, i'll always think of you and smile
And be happy for the time
I had you with me
Though we go our seperate ways
I won't forget so don't forget
The memories we made
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Please remember, please remember me
Goodbye, there's just no sadder word to say
And it's sad to walk away
With just the memories
Who's to know what might have been
We'll leave behind a life and time
We'll never know again
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
And remember, please remember me
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Then remember, please remember me
And how we laugh and how we smile
And how this world was yours and mine
And how a dream was out of reach
I stood by you, you stood by me
We took each day and made it shine
We wrote our names across the sky
We ride so fast, we ride so free
I had you and you had me
Please remember, please remember

Reece Magic : Hey on April 12, 2007Hello. I am Reece Magic, and you commented on a poem of mine a while ago, "Thoughts of a Helpless Soul". Truth be told, I've never truly felt like that, but I know that many others do feel that way. I will add you to my favorites, and will comment on some of your work when I get a chance. Hope you do the same for me. Take care of yourself. Oh, and by the way, you live in Iowa, so I'm guessing that's your college. For me, it's all about UCLA. USC, also, isn't bad. Anyway, nice to meet you. Hope to speak with you soon. bye bye.
