i think its stupid unless you are doin something bad. holding hands and hugging and kissing are not bad to me. i have a 2 year bf and i love him so much but they want to suspend us if we do anything

School is for learning... not sickening people with your public displays of affection.
Sure, holding hands, I think, is just fine. And maybe a quick kiss before class. But leaning on each other and snuggling in the hallways is something not meant for school.
Keep it PG. When I was in high school the staff was just the same way about PDA. Except if you were a teachers kid or someone well known and liked throughout the school you could get away with just about anything. -
The couples in my school kiss goodbye after school as if one is being shipped off to war or going on a ten-year voyage. It's ridiculous.

I'm on my daughters school's governing council.'Yes, I know I'm an old bloke and you teens wont understand the way I type because I DoN't Do ThIs or I don't say lolwut.
But anyway... we made a rule that holding hands in OK, but no hugging, kissing, fondling [eek] etc is to be done during school hours.
School is for gaining an education. We also know that relationships to form in schools every day, but we need to keep things under control.
As with all rules a line needs to be drawn.
Same as school uniforms ... either you wear the entire uniform or you go home and don't come back until you have it on.
So, that's why we made it holding hands and nothing more.
School should have no distractions.
After school? You can do what you want. [except if you are my daughter ..lol] -
Nogod explained it pretty solidly. A time and a place for everything, and school is not the time nor place for what you want to do. If a school forbid students to not get jobs, have girlfriends/boyfriends at all, and other things (which some conservative societies such as Japan do) then I would agree that it's outside their responsibility and therefore it should be outside their power. However, in your case, what you seem to be describing sound like it's within school walls and within school hours.

You might enjoy holding hands with him and kissing him...doesn't mean everyone else enjoys watching it. Hence I remember from high school, couples that walked down the halls together...ended up being late for class. Enough said.

Well, holding hands and a quick hug/kiss in the hall is cool. But like making out and stuff is just not really cool. Like at all. They need to get a room.

My high school was built for 1600, and we had 3200 students crammed in there. There were/are couples who navigate through traffic hugging/making out.
I usually spent my lunch time working on a computer looking straight out of a window. I could see at least three couples having clothed sex. I wanted to go out there with a spray bottle and go "squirt, squirt" a la The Simpsons

At our school, some teachers don't mind kissing, cuddling etc. but some are really against it. One teacher screams at you if you hold hands... it's embarrassing. But if she isn't around, you can do almost anything with your boy/girl friend. It's disgusting.
Especially this one couple *shudders at the memory* they're never off one and other. They never get in trouble though.
But yeah, I don't think you should be allowed to kiss and stuff in school, it's distracting for you and disgusting for other people (no offence who are pro-PDA)

I'll have all the sentiment i need there, in that idea. oh, my. how i wish i could've smelled the air around you two, tasted it, digested it. i'm sure it was absolutely ravishing.

i don't think they should. i think tht they should limit the way that people are making out. i think that a few quick kisses are not a bad thing but apparently they do i think that some one should be able to hold hands and give quick kisses in the hallway i still do it even thought it is banned at my school. i don't care what they say if i want to kiss my boyfriend i am going to whether they like it or not
